Breathing Easy and Feeling Good with NOW® Pets Supplements! | #NOWpetsSweeps

If you’re anything like me, you prefer to find all-natural solutions and remedies for both yourself and your pets. Antibiotics and medications definitely have their place, but if there is something natural to take instead, I would rather go that direction. That’s why I was excited to hear about NOW® Pets Supplements!

Snotty Sophie’s Experience with NOW Pets L-Lysine Pure Powder

Sophie - Breathing Easy with NOW Pets SupplementsSophie has suffered from chronic congestion since we adopted her almost five years ago. Sometimes her congestion flares up so badly that she can’t even breath through her nose at all. It also causes her to snore. Seriously, that cat can saw some logs! And I don’t even want to go into a description of the giant snot wads that she sneezes out. I’ll just say that I frequently find dried snot on the floor, walls, and yes, even my hair!

We’ve given Sophie antibiotics to treat her congestion a few times, but it always just comes right back. I certainly don’t want to put Sophie on antibiotics ALL the time, but I also don’t want her to suffer through having difficulty breathing. The obvious answer was finding a natural supplement that would help her to kick those snot wads to the curb!

Enter NOW Pets! NOW Pets makes a natural supplement called L-Lysine Pure Powder that helps to promote respiratory health, and it has helped Sophie immensely! We’ve been giving her the L-Lysine for over a month now, and we have definitely noticed a big difference. Sophie hasn’t woken me up snoring in weeks, and I haven’t had to clean up nearly as many kitty boogers. The biggest win, however, is knowing that Sophie is breathing easy and feeling SO much better.

This sounds like it might work great for both Boodie and Binga, who have chronic breathing and/or snotty problems.

Have to agree with Random Felines comment too…I was using L-Lysine for The ‘O’ Cats, but read that it could actually be harmful so I stopped. Haven’t really seen much else about it since.

I’m always scared to try supplements after the one experience we had with them made Kitty sick. I tell myself it’s not a fair representative of all supplements – but I was so devastated by losing Kitty – the fear is intolerable 🙁

So glad to hear you’ve found something that helps Sophie. Brulee tends to get URI and has some allergies, which cause her to sneeze. We think it’s because of all the dust in the house, but maybe we should try some of these supplements.
