Adventure Cat Training & Bonding Gift Ideas

The 2017 Holiday Gift Guide for Adventure Cat Lovers

Adventure Cats: Living Nine Lives to the Fullest

This book is a must-have for anyone who enjoys (or looks forward to enjoying) time outdoors with their cat. “Learn how to leash-train a cat. What to do if you encounter wildlife on the trail. Plus, winter safety tips, and how to bring a little bit of the outdoors to an indoor cat.”

Clicker Training Book + Clicker

Clicker training is a fun and effective way to bond with and train your cat. If you are looking to adventure and travel with your cat, training him to come when called, to walk on a leash, to sit, and even do tricks can make your adventures run much more smoothly. Also, for safety reasons, it is good idea to train your can to perform basic commands.

Bring the Outdoors Inside with the Pioneer Pet Cat Climber

The 2017 Holiday Gift Guide for Adventure Cat Lovers - Cat ClimberAt first glance, this may seem more like a gift for the adventure cat, not the adventure cat lover. While we can guarantee that your cat will love the Cat Climber by Pioneer Pet®, any adventure cat lover will too! The Cat Climber gives your cat some vertical climbing options to enjoy when he’s not out on the trail, which is great. But as an added bonus, it takes up ZERO floor space in your home! *And cat lovers everywhere rejoice*

Cats need and love vertical spaces to enjoy (hence their love of climbing on top of the refrigerator), but if you live in a smaller apartment or don’t have a lot of extra space for big cat trees, the Cat Climber is the perfect solution. The Cat Climber is a four-tiered shelf system that hangs on the back of any standard door in your home. It is very sturdy and can be easily be moved around from door to door if you like to change things up.

Why we love our Cat Climber: I’ve been wanting to get another cat tree for my gang for some time now, but I haven’t been able to figure out where to put another one. The Cat Climber solved my problem perfectly! Vertical space for cats to enjoy without taking up any horizontal space in my living room! I love that my little adventure cats have somewhere to climb and play inside when we aren’t out on adventures too.

Gift Ideas for Easy and Stress-Free Travel with an Adventure Cat

Caster Tries out Sling

Wacky Paws Pet Sling

We have one of these pet slings, and it is one of the handiest adventure cat accessories we have! It is great for when we are out exploring and one of the cats gets tired or a bit uncooperative. The pet sling will make adventuring with your cat so much easier!

Pet Stroller

The KCC Adventure Team in Search of the Great Pumpkin - Kylo Ren

Along the same lines as the pet sling, having a stroller for your cat(s) will make those longer excursions so much easier. I can fit three of my cats in our pet stroller, and they actually enjoy riding around in it. Pet strollers are a great way to ease your cat into the idea of traveling and adventuring, if you are just starting out.

Reservations at the Always-Pet-Friendly Red Roof Inn

Consider booking a trip for your adventure cat lover and her adventure cat this holiday season. Trust me, they will love you for it! No need to worry about finding pet-friendly lodging either – pets are always welcome at Red Roof Inns. Pets stay free too! Even better. Use code 604673 for 10% off.

Those are great gift ideas! We have Cat Climber and love it. No floor space is a huge bonus especially as our home is not big. Only thing I didn’t liike was that when it arrived, it had a very strong smell. But it didn’t seem to bother kitties and the smell eventually went away 🙂

Your scaredy-cat would love a Hide and Sneak cat tunnel. It combines a box, paper bag, and tunnel all in one for a safe, secure, and fun place to live. It’s eco friendly and handmade in the USA by Dezi and Roo.

I used to have the pioneer pet climber. It’s absolutely brilliant and so perfect for small space living.
Love the idea of clicker training cats. My cat was clicker trained but I thought he was the exception rather than the rule to cat training

Lots of great stuff for cats that Nala would have loved I am sure, although she never liked staying in a stroller or sling- she was quite the free spirit. I’d like that cute luggage – I haven’t seen it anywhere and the books sounds great.
